Since our last update the BadSeed House has received all the windows and doors, which are a combination of recycled wood windows and modern operable windows for ventilation. Despite the soaring temperatures and humidity in this region during this time of year, the interior of the house remains quite cool and light inside. This temperature moderation shall only improve once the large open gaps in the east and west wall are filled.
The next phase is soil on the roof, which will be a mixture of topsoil, vermiculite, and backfill. Charles Vega will be on site next week to aide in mixing and placed the soil on the roof. The house is expected to be complete in late 2014.
